Composition:
Bilastine 20mg + Montelukast 10mg
Therapeutic Action:
BILANES-M Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Bilastine and Montelukast. Bilastine in BILANES-M Tablet is an anti-allergic medication. Bilastine inhibits histamine binding to H1 receptor of the body cells and relieves allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes. Montelukast in BILANES-M Tablet works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger and reduces inflammation in the airways thus, subside the symptoms of both asthmatic and allergic symptoms.
Uses of Bilanes-M:
In the Treatment of Allergic Conditions
BILANES-M Tablet relieves allergic symptoms like sneezing, a blocked or runny nose, and itchy or watery eyes caused by seasonal hay fever (allergic rhinitis), and seasonal allergies. BILANES-M Tablet combination reduces allergy and swelling in the airways and provides prompt relief from the symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis.
How to Use Bilanes-M
Use this medication according to your doctor's prescribed dosage and duration. Swallow the pill whole. Not to be chewed, crushed, or broken. The BILANES-M Tablet may be taken with or without food, however it is preferable to take it at a set time each day.
Side Effects of Bilanes-M
Most side effects don't need medical attention and subside as your body gets used to the drug. Talk to your doctor if they keep happening or if they worry you.
